Cubs attend Linnet Clough Scout Camp

Cubs attended the Group Camp at Linnet Clough Scout Camp. It was a great success and the frequent rainfall did not stop our fun and enjoyment. From the many activities arranged it was the ‘Crate Stacking’ at the Climbing Tower and ‘zipping’ down the Zip Wire which was the most popular.

All Cub Scouts are currently working through their badges and awards and three Cubs will be presented with their Chief Scout’s Silver Award in January. Many other Cub Scouts have recently gained their ‘Hobbies’ and ‘Book Reader’ badges.

In November we joined our Beavers for a fun filled Ten Pin Bowling Night at Active Tameside, Denton.

Christmas activities start with the Christmas Extravaganza, then Christmas Crafts and Christmas Disco before we break for the holidays.
