About Us

Our Group was formed in 1913 and we have continued as an active Scout Group serving the local youth community of North Reddish, Stockport and surrounding areas (Denton, Gorton and Longsight).

Based at The North Reddish Scout and Guide Centre (close to North Reddish Railway Station) we deliver quality Scouting adventures and programmes to enable our members to develop skills for life.

There are almost half a million members aged 6-25 in the UK and we are proud to be part of a popular (and growing!) youth movement.

Everyone is welcome at 3rd Reddish and our fantastic team of volunteers are ready and waiting to help any young person start a Scout adventure.

Our Youth Sections meet every week to enjoy a wide range of activities which develop skills and learning. Most importantly we provide fun, friendship, adventure and achievement through a balanced programme. Scouting is a great place to make new friends, play new games, enjoy new challenges and to be part of a team. We also have events on some weekends when members enjoy being involved in camps, trips and activity days.
