Scouts attend Linnet Clough Group Camp

Scouts attended Group Camp at Linnet Clough and enjoyed a number of activities and challenges during what was mostly a ‘wet weekend’! Several Scouts gained their ‘Nights Away’ awards.
During November Scouts took part in a ‘Come Dine With Me’ patrol competition. It was great fun and the quality of the meals cooked was excellent.
Activities planned for December include Ten Pin Bowling, Indoor Games Challenge and Crafts (making woggles and bracelets).
Two Scouts have recently progressed to the Explorer Scout Unit and in January we look forward to a number of Cubs ‘moving up’ to our Section.
